So it was friday around the 21st of November 2010 and having no party life or anything happening in the small town of Bonny Hills, Nathan and his musketeer Tom Shilling decided a decent mission needed to be conducted. Saturday Morning we travelled to Byron Bay for a fad called "schoolies" and had one of the best 5 days man could witness.
DAY 1 :Saturday, The Car Trip Up
As observable from the photo's the trip up was nothing special.
DAY 2 : Sunday, Crystal Castles, Watego's beach, Crazy Rock Jumpers, Dan and the Melbourne School Gang.
so we arrived at the Crystal Castles at nine, it opened at ten, so i skated some hills which was kinda fun. best scenery out the back of byron. so beautiful. then we got into the crystal castles and despite the cost and rain we had a rad time. everything was so pretty. then we went down to wadego's beach and just had a lurk. lucky i took my camera as i wasnt going to. some gnarly dudes jumping into some rock pool we thought they were going to drown but they lived. we were also cntemplating talking to this loner chick on the beach who looked knda cool, but we bitched it went home and had a feast. getting ready for the night life.
DAY 3: Monday, The Waterfall, Dumb Bakery Chicks.
So we go out to some place in the middle of no where and ask some random girls working at a bakery where this waterfall is. " uhhh cross the park down the road and keep walking across and you should find it" so we did what she said, we were like 30 km away from our destination. but we did find this rad bonfire stack! we eventually found the waterfall and cooked a rd feast when we got home, although it looked sketchy so we through it out / gave it to the local turkeys and got some snagggggggs.
Day 4: I didnt get any photo's on day four because i thought we were leaving! but we decided to stay another day, luckily we did because the storm held off and blue skys came through around midday. we hungout with some random cool chicks at our camping ground who were rad! (lilly grace and jacqui, sorry other girls dont remember your names! and we also hung with our schoolies friends Jan, Dan and Papa some of the coolest dude's and went partying that night with them sharing our last night in Byron for schoolies! they made our schoolies the best it could be, shouting us free baykebabs and drinking chai tea and ate pancakes with us, man you guys rule.
Day 5: the trip home: We woke up to a thunderstorm and packed up in the rain which sucked! it was torrential rain leaving byron and my dream of skating ballina skatepark faded like the storm clouds as we entered Coffs harbour, we got a rad feast at hungry jacks and then went to Nambucca skatepark.
